Bruins - Canadiens - Double OT - Bruins win 2-1 |
|
This just might have been the best hockey game I've ever watched. Unbelievably insane goalkeeping from both Thomas and Price...non-stop action up and down the ice. 96 shots on goal....93 stops. I'm exhausted just watching it. Bruins have comeback from 0-2 to take a 3-2 series lead. Back to Montreal. Something tells me this will go 7 and probably won't be settled without another OT or 2.

I live in Montreal and am no fan of the Bruins, but I have to admit, though reluctantly, that their commercials with the bear are quite funny. I do have that sinking feeling that the B's will have my Habs' number this year...

should be a doozy... These clubs played just last night in Montreal and the Bruins had a chance to end the best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarterfinal series at the Bell Centre. However, the Canadiens recorded a 2-1 victory in Game 6 to force this evening's final battle. Read more: http://www.kansascity.com/2011/04/27/2830320/6-montreal-canadiens-3-3-at-3.html#ixzz1Kjvuebtb

Habs looked absolutely awesome tonight. Price was making some impossible saves tonight. I really thought Montreal had the edge tonight and they just seemed quicker and more accurate in their passes. Neither team quit in this series...I can't remember a series that seemed this good and this well matched.

12. One of the best series I've ever seen between the two teams. |
|
I thought Montreal had the extra jump in their step all night. Got to give Price tons of credit for the year he had. There's no bigger spotlight in the game than being a goalie for Montreal, and he had a great season, and played awesome in the playoffs.
