Tim Duncan is to Basketball what Tom Brady is to Football |
|
He's not flashy, he's not a colorful personality, he just wins.

2. difference=Duncan would never sit in audience with the chimp |
|
on purpose. that makes him much, much, better as a man. It also shows how much smarter he is than Brady.
Duncan--"If I back sheed down within three inches of the key, tay will have to collapse and I'll have bowen or ginobili at the corner for a three or an open lane to drive."
Brady--" I back up three feet-walks like chimpy leader told me and throw ball. Strategery."
As a piston fan, congrats to the all the spurs' fans. It was a fun series, I'm sure we'll do it again next year.
What class Spurs' fans showed by cheering Larry Brown's mention by Pop. that was so cool. I'd love to say our d fans would've cheered pop but we'll never know now.

in a way that isn't always easy to describe. I agree that he's not flashy, but I do think he has plenty of personality .... but the media doesn't see the qualities he has as being "selling points." As a parent, I find Tim Duncan is exactly the kind of athlete I want my children to look up to.

4. he's also a center who plays Power Forward |
|
which gives him a clear advantage over other players because he doesn't have to do all the dirty work centers do, even though he's 7 feet tall and 280+ pounds or whatever he is.

So, why don't all centers play as power forwards, then?
Hey, they could even play as point guards and really outsize their opponents!
