6-0 Red Sox over Phillies...so far |
|
Three-run homers by Mirabelli and Manny.
And O's are losing in Atlanta. So many choices on tv tonight...Yanks/Mets on ESPN and Baltimore/Atlanta on TBS in addition to the Sox game, of course.

2. I'm flipping back and forth between |
|
Mets versus Yankees and the Braves versus Orioles
As a Braves fan I'm enjoying the Braves game so far... but definitely not a done deal.

That could change though, I invoked the same thing I did to the Yankees last year and to win the iPod at all night grad. But until now :grr:, stupid Orioles.

lol, nah I wasn't too comfortable with a seven-one lead so early.. because that meant.. there still many innings to go...
Making me sweat man.. making me sweat lol.

Whenever the Braves start losing...... Danny Kolb has been my scape goat for this year... regardless of if he is pitching or not. :)
I also blame myself for your five runs... I switch to the Yankees Mets game to watch it for a bit.. and when I switch back.. bam it's 7-5. I'm not changing the channel again :)

I have nothing against the Orioles.. but we need what wins we can get to try to eventually catch up with the Nationals...... so I'll be rooting against ya this time around...
At least we can be united in our hopes the Yankees don't win the AL east :). (My best friend is a Red Sox's fan.. so his Yankees hatred has rubbed off on me over the years.)
Of course just as I type I'm rooting against you.. you hit a double to get in scoring position...... heh.
Edit: Nevermind inning over.

11. Yeah nothing personal, if we lose, we lose |
|
I was brought up to hate the Yankees, and one thing I do not want to see is a hot yankees team. though right now I wouldnt mind the Red Sox cooling it off.

12. Heh I prefer the Red Soxs |
|
But I wouldn't be unhappy if you Orioles win it. I was brought up in an Orioles household (My next door Neighbor dragged me to the "National Side".....) and it be nice to see someone other than the Yankees get first in that division regardless of what team it is.
Besides I keep on having this scary image of a Nationals versus Orioles W.S.

13. Wakefield goes 8 scoreless innings, |
|
2 hits, 2 walks, 6 Ks. Embree finishes off the shutout. 8-0 Red Sox.
Yanks lose, Baltimore loses.
The Red Sox are in first place in the AL East by 1/2 a game. :)

We need to get our shit together badly, because I do not wanna enter that four gamer against the Yankees on a losing streak.
