3. I hope so
I hope we have a race that doesnt involve the bastards from the Bronx because at least one way, I'll be happy, i have no resentment towards the Sox, I guess its what I got from adopting them the past few ACLS'.

No. J2K1131

We just couldn’t help ourselves.

Here it is: the last word in JD-as-JC images. From Curt Schilling’s stigmata on his ankle to Johnny Damon’s miraculous home run in the first inning of Game 4, this group of wise men has turned Boston into the next Holy City.

Love the Citgo sign in the background. Don’t see many of those in Nazareth.

Amen. Go Sox. Bless disciples Brad and Brotherman for sending this one in.

Here are links to the previous two weeks' worth of Johnny Damon Jesus postings: www.jesusoftheweek.com/jesii/333 and www.jesusoftheweek.com/jesii/334

By the way, folks, if you haven't seen thee Red Sox fan movie comedy "Fever Pitch," don't miss it. It's a delight, right down to the Yankees toilet paper. They had to re-shoot the end of the movie when the real world Red Sox season erupted in miracles last year.

14. You'll have your turn. What the Sox did was such a crazy, impossible
miracle. And then there was the blue moon and the eclipse - crazy, really. Everything seemed possible. And against the Darth Yankees! Too sweet! I did feel sorry for the nice St Louis team and fans, but not enough to give up that Sox triumph.

Some time The Orioles will have a triumph too. They're not all that far from Boston, you know, and New York doesn't count.

Many of us chose to see it as a kind of omen that the impossible would happen in politics too, that Kerry would win the election with a last-minute, come-from-behind victory.

And he did.

10. Sox Win!
I don't about the Orioles going into 3rd place, the Yankees seem determined to shoot themselves in the foot. I flipped the Yankee/Mets game on a couple times and they have some horrible defense with the corpse of Bernie Williams in center and Tony womack in right stumbling around like he just came off the tilt-o-wirl.

The Sox are in first! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
