Morgan Ensberg has 24 home runs and 65 RBI
at the All-Star break. And he's not on the team.

That's bullshit.

That is all.

1. As much of a Cardinals homer as I am, Ensberg should be ahead of Rolen.
Scott's been hurt for a portion of this year, and although he is one hell of a player, Ensberg deserves to be on the team.

2. Well, that's exactly what happened last night!
Ensberg received a call Sunday night informing him he had been added to the NL team as a replacement for St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Scott Rolen, who pulled out of the All-Star Game to rest a problematic shoulder....

Ensberg and his wife, Christi, packed their bags for a getaway (to Lake Tahoe, NV) with former Astros teammate Scott Linebrink and his wife, Kelly. Ensberg was one turn away from seeing the signs to the terminals at Bush Intercontinental Airport when his cellular phone rang with a call from Astros general manager Tim Purpura.
