Wickman always puts people on base before he records outs. Ultimately, he gets the save (23 out of 26 so far). So when Wickman walked the first batter, Francona should not have panicked.

Best player in the game as far as I care, hes a great guy too. Guys like him are gonna be the basis for an article I wanna write about how sports really are one of the most important things in this country to people of all ages.
