1. I used to play basketball
with many of the Falcons and Buddy Curry(who was an excellent linebacker) quit at the same time. I ssked him why( he was still good) and he said the body can only take so much and that the pounding actually breaks down the muscle.

Hey if you listen closely enough you can almost hear the crackling in Pennington's shoulder from here. How's Dougie Brien doing these days? Jets my ass.

13. The Jets kicker will be Mike Nugent this year, which should be a...
...signficant upgrade. I doubt if Jets fans give a damn about how Brien is doing these days, since he wrecked their season.

17. I have never read such un-Patriotic drivel in all my days

Put your helmet on Magic Rat, and I will meet you and the Jets on the greensward Sunday afternoon (with the Pats backing me up).

YOU WILL SALUTE THE SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS.

Or you will eat pigskin, garnished with Freedom Fries and Astroturf.

We Demand Patriotism.

You are either with us, or against us.

5. No big loss
Ted didn't pass the physical. They'll roll on without him and the Squeeler/Dolts fans will continue to be consumed by jealousy.

10. Overblown
I can't believe people in the media (which is what's driving the "but what about the coordinators?" meme) can't understand that this organization would no doubt cultivate people to assume higher positions as others leave. I could throw out names, but nobody here would know who they are.

Pretty confident Belichick can handle the D.

but the again... I would be happy if they collapsed

Most of the media are comparing them to they cowboys. They lost key players and both coordinators to end their run of 3 out 4 SB

and it was a fumble :)

12. A lot more contributed to the demise of the Cowgirls
For one they found themselves in salary cap hell. The Pats and the Eagles are very good at managing the cap. Aikman, Irvin and Smith also began to show some miles on their tires.

According to the rules it wasn't a fumble. And even it was, the Raiders had plenty of other chances to win the game.

14. yeah the salary cap got them and big players leaving
I was kidding about the fumble. I was just being a smart ass

I can't wait for the first game with New England. I hope the Raiders offense is as good as the potential on paper.

15. Roll Tide
Should be an interesting game. Glad they picked the Raiders to play the Pats. More interesting than beating up on the Dolts again. Should be a good one to start the year.

6. while not a Pats fan
I always liked Johnson.

He was a big part of the Colorado (go CU!) defense back in the day...

Wonder why he hung it up?
