Man, Emeka Okafor Just Got Schooled Tonight By Nenad Krstic

Who is Nenad Krstic?

He's the Nets first round draft pick from two years ago (21st overall) now in his rookie year.

He made his first career start tonight and played until about 4 minutes into the 3rd quarter when he elbowed a Charlotte Bobcat player hard and got ejected from the game.

But before he got tossed, this was his stat line:

Meanwhile, the second overall pick in the draft played 31 minutes and this was his stat line:

10 points
11 rebounds
0 blocks
1 assist

While Krstic was still in the game, Okafor was held to only 2 points. He had a double-double at halftime (10 points, 11 rebounds) and was dominating inside.

I am going to call it now, Nenad Krstic will come out of nowhere to win Rookie of the Year.

2. i can, Charlotte is a scrappy little team

they are a nice little team, well put together and they play hard. I think Okafor is going to be a great player for them too...just not as good as Krstic. :evilgrin:
