Poll question: Will the Mets step it up in the face of adversity?

After the collision yesterday that will probably sideline Mike Cameron for the rest of the season and keep Carlos Beltran out of the lineup for a while, will the team be able to put together a run?

1. They're 7.5 back and in last place.

Jumping one team from that far back is pretty tough when it's mid-August. Jumping four is nearly impossible.

With or without Cameron, they're done.

On edit: So far as the Wild Card is concerned, they're only 4 games out, but there are still 4 teams ahead of them. That's not all that much easier.
