Orioles' Ponson arrested for drunken driving
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Sidney Ponson was arrested on a drunken driving charge on Thursday, the latest in a series of off-field problems for the Baltimore Orioles pitcher.

Ponson was stopped at 1:30 a.m. local time for tailgating while entering Interstate 95 in Baltimore and was arrested for failing a sobriety test, said Maryland Transportation Authority spokeswoman Pamela Thorne.

The 28-year-old Ponson was charged with driving under the influence and driving while impaired.
