One game each for the BoSox and the Yanks so far |

Pretty good series - two good teams.

1. Sox came in only needing to win 1 out of 3. Done |

First time since 1995 Yanks don't make playoffs? Their pitching is one huge bandage. If I told you at the start of the season Schilling would miss most the season, Foulke would be a non factor, Renteria would be leading the majors in errors, Manny would be hitting .280 (albeit with power), and Bellhorn would be a bust, would you believe the Sox would be leading the league in Sept.? Not me. With Schilling back ( we hope) and Foulke looking good so far, the Sox are again the team to beat. Cardinals/Sox again? Looking good!

2. both the Sox and Yanks |
|
are a shell of the teams they were last year. Both have huge pitching issues. I wouldn't call either team a favorite.
