2. I was at the game.
That was the wierdest thing I ever saw in baseball. Graffanino couldn't go past second while Kapler sat injured on the basepaths.

The whole thing sucked to begin with, and then the crowd booed when Machado went out to replace Kapler on the paths. Really lowered my opinion of Jays fans...

3. It was such a line shot

he must have been running at full tilt and then let up when he saw it was over, that's what it looked like on the replay. Terrible injury. What a shame.

4. Yeah, I didn't even see it.
I was watching the ball and then I looked back on the field and woah, Kapler is face down on the fake turf! WTF?

What a shitty way to go down. One of my fave Red Sox too. The fans were not very nice to him.

6. The radio guys said he hit a seam in the turf
They said the players had been complaining about the seam during the whole series.

Gabe is one of my favorite players. I was very pleased when he came back from Japan. This is a major loss.

8. I agree with that
Artificial turf has caused too many injuries to still be used. Of course people are going to be injured no matter what surface is used but they shouldn't be injured because of cheap turf.

9. I love Gabe too....
He is an all-out dirt dog (term of endearment).
He hustles on every play, even the home runs.
