3. Yeah since 2004 Big Ben has been defeated by two squads |
|
The New England Patriots and the Iowa Hawkeyes. That's it. But the Patriots are better than the Steelers, hence all kinds of Super Bowl championships. Sigh. I sure wish the Packers would grasp the idea of team football. Never mind. Congrats to the Pats.

We could just as well be laughing at you now! The Steelers stunk, but IMHO the Pats didn't exactly set the world on fire (except for Brady's fourth quarter drive, which he actually got extra time for!).
Now I know how Magic Rat felt after the Jets lost to the Steelers in the play-offs last year!
It was not an enjoyable game to watch, football-wise, but Big Ben will continue to learn from his mistakes, and we here hope that Randle-El never gets "inspired" again. Gak! I wanted to stab myself with an icepick after he tried that pitiful lateral.
Here's to seeing you in the playoffs (we both should hope). :toast:

They won't go back to the SB this year. Look out for the Steelers...they'll be in the thick of things in January.

time clock should have expired 50 seconds earlier in the 4th quarter. No field goal would have been named.Too bad Harrison is gone for the season.

11. Patriots aren't that good this year. |
|
They got spanked by the Panthers, and they BARELY beat Pittsburgh. I always find it interesting how the Patriots barely win a game and their fans always talk smack like they plowed over the team they just beat.

I personally do not think the Patriots are playing the kind of football needed to make it to the SB again. Yes they are the champs but I can think of at least three teams who want it much more and are playing more consistently than New England. They just don't "have" it anymore, IMHO.

bad they are playing. Headline in Charlotte Observer last week said "Jake Delhoome best quaterback for the other team."
