Bad Owner
I just read page 2 on espn and after reading the article there it seems to me that the Yankee problem is not with the manager or with the pitching coach it is with the owner. According to the article there were about seven pitcher making a combined 46.5 million who did not play in the playoffs. In addition, with all the money spent on the team Steinbrenner did not manage to get a centerfield. It seems to me that it is Steinbrenner by just throwing away money and not thinking how he should use the money to make a better team is causing the problems for the team.

What do people think of Alex Rodrequiz's play during the playoffs? Has he been worth the money the Yankees gave him? Anyway, how did Rodrequiz get the big $125 million deal from the Rangers? I do not know because I did not pay much attention to Rodrequiz before the deal. I am more of a braves fan.

4. ESPN
If you are asking about page 2 it is someone that is on ESPN's website. You may be joking, but if you are not and you really want to know what page 2 then that is your answer.

I did not understand your question. I did mention that I realized that you might be joking. Is there anyway that you can explain what you mean when you ask is that a sequel to Bad Santa?

3. A-Rod got the deal by being the best player in baseball before it
He's one of those players it's worth it to overpay for.

The Yankees spent their money very unwisely in this past offseason - getting unproven pitchers for way too much money and way too many years (Pavano and Wright), and while getting Randy Johnson was a worthwhile risk, it backfired big-time. Not to mention that the center-field gap that has been in existence for about three years is still there, and that the Yankees are still feeding Ruben Sierra ABs while Matt Lawton rides the bench, AND the bullpen issues that this team has had for the past two seasons, and you have problems that start at the top and run much deeper.

6. A-Rod
...and all he does is put up MVP like numbers up every year. I am no Yankee fan, but you have to give it up to him.

11. Ok, Look
I'm a huge Yankee fan. I love them, and Steinbrenner. However, I don't agree with all his moves, and he made the wrong ones on pitiching. (Letting Petite go, signing Pavano, Wright, Vasquez, etc.) Also, With A-Rod, all He does IS put up MVP numbers IN THE REGULAR SEASON!!! When the postseason comes along, he blows! .145 AVG. O HR and 0 RBI,. He can't do shit in the postseason. He's making $25 mill a year for that. I think The Yankees should do the Following tis off season:
Sign Bengie Molina. Make Posada the DH. Re-Sign Bernie for the bench a lot cheaper then he makes now, Try to trade Carl Pavano back to Florida (Herd they made what him back) for CF Juan Pierre, who is fast, And lastly re-vamp the bullpen, sign BJ Ryan, Billy Wagner, or others.
So next year:
C- Molina
1B: Giambi
2b: Cano
SS: Jeter
3b A-Rod
OFS: Pierre, Matsui, Sheff.
Pitchers: Starters: Johnson, Mussinia, Wang, Chacon, and Wright
Pen; Strueze? Lieter (if he doesn't retire), Gordon, Riviera, Wagner? Ryan? Somebody???
The payroll will then be about $180 m. down from $205. ANd this hopefully will work. Oh, and Kevin Brown is finally Gone!

10. I think the problem is Brian Cashman
he should immediately be fired and sent to Washington to GM the Nationals. That'll learn him!
