If their is justice in the NHL.....
Andy Sutton will get at least a 5-game suspension for his deliberate attempt to injure Darcy Tucker tonight. It's one of the worst things I've seen in hockey. He steered Tucker towards the boards for at least 10 feet, then drove his face into the boards. Tie Domi said it best - "that's bush league!"

In other rants, Sean Avery is a shit stain on the underpants of hockey. And Georges Laraque is one of the most upstanding citizens in the game, the epitomy of community servant. So who are you going to believe? I know who I do. It's not like Avery hadn't already disparaged Europeans and French Canadians.

1. That was a moronic play.
Tie Domi said it best - "that's bush league!"

And he would know.

2. And how is it that Domi would know that?
he drops his gloves...I don't recall any stick incidents with Domi. Or driving people into the boards like Sutton. Hell, even last night Boulton wailed on him while Tie was prone in a pileup. And Boulton, rightfully, got penalized appropriately. Geez, pretty bad when a Habs fan has to defend a Leafs player.

11. So his cheap shot on Rob Niedermeyer didn't really happen?
Granted I didn't see the play but Domi is prone to stupidity on occasion.

Now. What happened?

5. Nope, it was just the case that the Leafs had a 7 or 8 goal lead
at the time and Bob Hartley, being the petty little fuck that he is, had his players make runs at oppostion players. The Tucker incident was preceded by one of those worms trying to elbow Lindros in the head from behind.

6. You summed it up nicely, Telly...
it seemed like the refs saw it that way too, as Boulton got his, Sutton got 4 games and the Leafs had a 2-man advantage for quite awhile after the melee. It's all on tape anyway.

I thought I was on the freeper site when I saw the comment about Tucker deserving it...pretty lame.

7. I only caught the highlights.
The game itself was on LeafsTV, a digital cable channel I don't have and money's a bit tight to be going to the bar on the corner to watch it.

Glad I missed it though. As much as I like seeing the Leafs win, I'm a hockey fan, and what happened in Atlanta last night sure as hell wasn't a hockey game. It'll be nice to see the Leafs play a real time in an hour.

10. he does deserve every cheap shot he gets the rest of his career
He gave a cheap shot to Michael Peca in the playoffs and cost the guy a season and probably the greatness of his career.

Took out his knee, on purpose.

He is scum.

8. Pah, I'll never defend Darcy "cheap shot punkass bitch" Tucker.
If anyone deserves to be treated like that it's him. He's a scumbag and a punk.
