Astros 4, Cards 3...I CAN'T take this anymore, we're BETTER than them |

I don't want to hear the name Hector Luna for a while. Where are my other bottles of Tequila that I had stashed?...I'm off to hunt for them.

2. And in my opinion we need to stop with Thompson and Flores |
|
I love Scott Rolen. We've played great ALL season, we CAN'T blow it again.

The rundown after the game was over, it was 0-0 before I went out. I came back and it's 4-3 and it's over. The rundown said that Lane (Astros) scored after Luna's throwing error :grr: That was at the bottom of the 6th and that after Morris we had Thompson and Flores pitching.
We need to clone Carpenter and Mulder that's what we need to do.

I have to grudgingly give kudos to Clemens, but I know that the Cardinals are BETTER than the Astros. With Rolen and Eckstein we're pretty much unstoppable.

5. Are you referring to the Cardinals? |
|
Did your have our HOLE team last year?
The refer to the Braves as the Buffalo Bills. I think its time we refer to the Cards as the Braves of their division.

8. No, we didn't have our whole team last year either. |
|
Rolen was hurt, but played. Steve Kline was out.
It's starting to look like we're the Braves. Goddammit. Motherfucker!!! :argh:

Rolen is a tumor. Trade him to an American League team for some wampum.

Selfish bastards like rolen make the game sad for the fans. Cardinal fans may love him but only for what he does for their team.

I love your user name of Boss Hogg and considering that I think you come across as a good fellow, I'll accept that comment ;)
I think there are a lot of prima donnas, another is Derek Jeter, who I can't stand, another is Kenny Rogers, who I can't stand.
You gotta love Albert Pujols though, right? :)

Why do you consider Derek Jeter a prima donna? What has he done to deserve this title. Is it is parting during the season? I am not the biggest Yankee's fan and do not watch many of their games, but I do not see how he is a prima donna.

Jeter thinks way too much of himself, he's not as arrogant as Kenny Rogers, but he's nearly there. I just get bad vibes from him, I'm not saying that everybody or anyone else has to agree with this, it's just my own personal opinion.

12. I don't know about that. |

This is the first I've heard of anything like that. But, I'll pass that suggestion along to Walt Jocketty next time I see him. ;)

of seeing short home runs in Houston's left field box (aka 'the ladies' tees')???
it seems like every HR houston hits barely scrapes the wall and lands there

19. I will say that the Astros have pitched better. |
|
But these cheap-ass home runs are fucking pissing me off. I hate that joke of a ballpark.
