Were the Green Jerseys Lucky for Notre Dame today?
Just a tacky Irish non-liker asking. I truly enjoy it when they lose, I don't care to whom.

1. It was a fervent petition for instant Karma
Just like that not-cutting-the-grass bush league stunt.

I was LMFAO when C. Weisse didn't want to take his fat ass off the field and then, and then Leinart scores a TD.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

2. Luck of the Irish
They'll probably go up three spots in the rankings next week.

3. Truly, to give them their due--
I thought USC would frog-stomp them. I figured all the optimistic predictions of a win for ND or a close game were just plain nuts.

Showed me.

6. PSU has no pass defense. Mich beats them in the last 53 sec after
PSU scored.

8. Give the Irish their due
They were awesome today. This is the closest the Trojans have come to losing in more than two years. I say Notre Dame stays in the top ten. It was a gutty performance. They played as well as they could have.

I mean, what more could they have done?

9. I don't like the green jerseys
I don't think they wore them back when Knute Rockne coached.

I like Notre Dame and I wanted them to win, but watching them on NBC is very annoying. They basically have their own football network.

10. Notre Dame, you either love Her or hate Her. No one's apathetic about Her
Notre Dame played the best that I've seen the football team play, so yeah the green jerseys were "lucky" for the Irish. It psyched them up, and I saw the Irish defense make plays that last year they would not have.

The difference between the 2 teams at this point in time is that USC's players had more experience winning close games than the Irish, but this game proved that the Irish will not be dominated by the Trojans or anyone else under Weis.

The Irish won Respect Saturday. Winning the BIG game is just a matter of when, not if.
