1. I don't agree
Houston has arguably the best reliever in baseball pitching to arguably the best pure hitter in baseball. Strength versus strength. Can't fault the decision. If Pujols is out, Garner is a genius.

2. Houston should have pulled the pitcher
It was clear he was losing his stuff. This is not time to fart around.

I remember a couple of years ago when the Red Sox left Pedro Martinez in against the Yankees during the playoffs. Pedro was clearly losing his stuff, and soon gave up the winning runs and the Yanks won the penant.

If a pitcher is loosing it in the playoffs, give him the hook.

3. Astros are fearless right now.
On paper, they shouldn't even be here. What the "book" or percentages say doesn't mean much to them.

6. "If Pujols is out, Garner is a genius"
Yes, But if Pujols hits a towering 3 run shot (not a little blooper into short Left field type of home run) Garner looks dumb. And if Grady Little had pulled Pedro, and won..........?

I just hope if the Cards make it, Ozzie thinks that way too.

5. You NEVER throw a fastball over the plate to Pujols.
Or any average hitter in the MLB.
