College World Series, Toure de France, and nearby, NBA Championship. Our college football team is ranked number 2 (could change Saturday). Now the World Series just down the road.

I couldn't give two shits about UT, since I went to A&M and we suck. We know where I stand on baseball. OK, so the Tour de France and the Spurs kick ass, so it hasn't been all bad. :P

There was wailing and gnashing of teeth Sunday night, but with Oswalt throwing, I had a little confidence (but only a little).

And the 9th inning tonight wasn't nearly as stressful, even when they got that 2-out hit.

They executed splendidly and they got a little o' that buzzard's luck (the play at second where Everett missed the tag but still got the out call).

Tip o' the chapeau to the Cardinals; we'll try to represent the NL proudly in the Fall Classic.
