Now Los Angeles is also trying to get the Saints
San Antonio has made overtures to Saints Owner tom benson and now the Los Angeles City counsel is making similar wooings for the Saints. I guess if LA suffers a big earthquake New Orleans gets the team back?!? Right?

1. It would be a mistake to move an existing franchise to L.A.
or even have an expansion team there, for two reasons. L.A. isn't willing to publicly fund a new stadium, and while support might be strong in the beginning, attendance would wane if the team didn't perform well because L.A. has so many people from so many different places that most football fans would rather stay home and watch their favorite team play on TV. Take it from a Raider fan who attended games regularly when the team was in L.A. - at most L.A. Raiders games, nearly half the crowd would be rooting for the other team. These people have allegiances elsewhere and most of them aren't likely to switch to a team that moves to L.A. Also, the Raiders still have a very large following in L.A. If you are ever on a Southwest Airlines Sunday morning flight to Oakland when the Raiders are at home, a large portion of the people on that flight are sure to be Raider fans, trust me on this. Take a look at the TV ratings for the L.A. area when the Raiders are on TV locally, and you'll find that their game, no matter who they are playing, will out-poll the other games. All this would be problematic for the Saints or any team that moves to L.A.

2. I don't think that will happen.
Tags has stated that if there is any team in L.A., then it will be an expansion team.

After thinking about things, I don't think that benson can move the Saints to San Antonio. The reason I believe this is because Jerry Jones will not allow it. I now have hope!!!!!!!!!!!!!
