1. Talk about much ado about nothing...
Poor guys have to play outside in the 70 degree weather. How sad.

24 hour sports and sports talk radio have nothing else to talk about, so they talk about stupid crap like this.

If your team is so bad that it gets affected by whether the roof is open or not, then you've got bigger problems.

2. My Problem
My problem with this is if you do not want to have to open your roof do not build a roof that can be opened. They spent all that money to build a field that had a roof that could be opened and now they do not want to open the roof. They should now stop complaining; if they wanted the roof closed they should have built it that way.

4. Exactly.
And baseball is an outdoor sport. Play it there whenever possible.

5. Does not having the dome shut make pitchers walk 4 men in a row?

6. My feeling is the home team should get to choose but....
..at least the MLB is being consistent. The D-backs were also forced to open the roof for all home games in the 2001 WS.

7. Cheaters never win
Open the roof, I wonder if the roof was open during the NLCS with the Cards? Hmmmmmmmmmm.

Those pretenders need to lose anyway. They were never closer to the Cards than 11 games back all season. Lucky Losers. Wild Card sucks.
