3. I predicted 24-6 on Saturday |
|
Unfortunately, I thought that sounded too cocky and didn't tell anyone about it. But I was close!
Didn't think the Brownies would score a touchdown.

5. That's what *should* happen |
|
But in the NFL, really good teams are always losing key games to teams they should beat. Just look at the Steelers in the AFC championships throughout the 90s. I'll take it one week at a time.
Well, two weeks at a time, since the Bungles suck so bad. :)

10. I'm thinking of the Patriots |
|
both in a divisional playoff game (1997?) and the 2002 AFC championship. Both times the Steelers had the better team but lost pretty badly.
I do think this year is different in the way the Steelers have dominated everyone, but strange things can always happen.

11. Watch out for the upset this Sunday... |
|
...we can be awfully tough at home. Not to mention the fact that the first game was much closer than people remember. It came right down to the end.

12. are many bengals fans going to come? |

Because usually, it's mostly Steelers fans when they play in Cincinnati.

13. You're right, it has been that way for the past several years, but |
|
that kind of thing is invevitable when a divisional oppenent is so close geographically, like Pittsburgh is. Couple that with the fact that the Bengals have sucked complete ass for well over a decade. People just lost interest. However, it'll be a good Bengals crowd this time around, all the home games sold out pretty much right away this summer. And we've got something to cheer for now. Our defense is being re-tooled (6 rookies, come on), but still lead the league in takeaways w/ 24. And watch out in 2005-2006 - we're gonna be tough. I think the AFC North will be the best division in football in a couple years.

That's something we can all agree we'd like to see. Now if those Browns would just get with the program...
