1. No real Patriot would root for the Baltimore Colts |
|
Oh, wait, my mistake, aren't they the Peoria colts or something now?
So confusing.
At any rate, I stand with the true Patriots !!!

He looks quite flustered. I'm just going to assume he was upset. . . so without thinking he flew out the red flag.. and then just took the challenge instead of a penalty??? At least that is what the announcers seem to have speculated?
In any case. . . play stand. . two point conversion missed.. Colts now just taking time off the clock . . everything is good :).

Peyton Manning must be thinking, "Now I can tell people at ESPN to shove it when they ask me 'When are you going to beat New England?'"

12. New England won with 22 rushing attempts last week |
|
Edited on Tue Nov-08-05 12:35 AM by Awsi Dooger
Buffalo outrushed them 39 attempts to 22. That is generally the sign of an overrated team, and impending doom the following week. I've mentioned that regarding Philly several times but tonight it fit New England. The Pats have also drifted away from the run this year, about 23 attempts per game while last year it was 32 and in the 30 range the first two Super Bowl winning seasons. For some reason twice defending champions always fall into that trap, somewhat softer and lazier and relying on the pass. The most blatant example was the '90 49ers who basically abandoned the running game that season even though they started the season on a long winning streak. Fittingly, the Giants took them out in the playoffs on the road, largely because San Francisco couldn't run the ball.
Now I've got to rely on Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, San Diego or Seattle to ruin Indy's perfect season. I guess Jacksonville has an outside shot. Next week: home to Texans. Not worth a second thought.
