Houston Texans win the "Bush Bowl"

will have the #1 pick in the NFL Draft. Will they go with Bush? Or will they go with Matt Leinart? (if they're not happy with Carr....although it would help if they had an O Line to protect him)

1. Trade the pick for multiple 1st/2nd round picks

Go the Dallas route: Trade to get several picks (I think Minnesota gave up 8 over 2-3 years for Herschel Walker) and use those to build a solid team. One player, no matter how good, is not going to help that team. Plus Bush, Leinhert and Young could all pull an Eli and refuse to play in Houston or New Orleans (San Antonio...Los Angeles...wherever)

2. Aaauuuugggh! It's bad enough when *we* blow a double-digit lead...

but to have someone else do it for us and spike any hope of ever really being "America's Team" is just a bit over the top.

I mean, c'mon, it's not like Houston wasn't already overrun with Bushes, for Pete's sake! :-)

Without a GM (Casserly or no) they will probably be swept up in the Bush hysteria.

I hope they move the #1, get some picks or players, and draft UVa OT D'Brickashaw Ferguson.

5. Better to Trade Pick

I think it would be better to trade the number 1 pick for multiple picks. It could come back to hurt the Texans, but they should trade the pick to the 49s and then get an offensive line. However, I would not be surprised if they go for Leinart or Bush. At this point I think they are probably leaning more toward Leinart.l
