I was at that game, and it was a GREAT football game to watch - AFTER my Dawgs came alive, of course. :hi:

Your Mountaineers presented us with an unstoppable running attack, and it was clear that when your great back got to the corners, his speed was far superior to our linebackers and def backs. You beat us on the corners most of the night. A couple of times, your offensive line punched huge holes in the middle of what was a pretty solid defensive line. You wouldn't DROP the BALL, so my Dawgs were given no help in their uphill struggle to even up the score.

It didn't matter that most of the color in the Dome was RED, the WVU fans were LOUD and came to cheer a winning team; and they most certainly did.

I felt deep inside that my beloved Dawgs would not win this game, and that gut feeling was correct. Congratulations to WVU and the Big East for a big win.

First damn play-run the ball and I was thinking it was gonna be a LONG night for Eers fans but y'all couldn't stop the run

I was amazed--I called my little sister after the 4th TD and she was getting ready to call me-neither one of us could believe it

WVU doesn't play that well, especially in bowls

the team was amazing last night--I can't say enough good things about us

and UGa looked damn good--after LSU took apart Miami (yeah!!!) I was a bit scared because if UGa beat a team that good, what the hell were they gonna do to us

and y'all came damn close to winning the game

the ball well, too, last night. Everything clicked for them. They were ready to play.

As one of the Mountaineer fans said, consoling me when it was 28-0, it was their time.

22. As a WVU fan who was there,

I must say your fans were amazing. Not only were they loud & excited, but they were gracious hosts. Of course, we had one Georgia fan in our section who was a complete jerk - but we have our share of those at WVU, too. Overall, everyone down there was so nice -- and I'm not the only WVU fan who believes so.

So, thanks to you & all Dawg fans for making one of the most exciting days of my life even better.

17. Didn't know you were a Mountaineer fan!

My boyfriend grew up/went to school there so we watched the entire game - they were very impressive, and probably saved their conference's chances for future BCS bowls. Hard to argue with the win over Georgia - no one expected them to do it (IN Atlanta) - the best bowl game so far, IMHO. I'm a Penn Stater, so we'll be watching that tonite. :hi:
