Detroit Pistons set a dubious record
Rip Hamilton became the first person ever to lead his team in scoring without hitting a single field goal.

He missed all 10 shots, but hit all 14 free throws Thursday night in a loss against Memphis.

Bizarre.

2. That was a tough game to watch.
I was hoping the Stones would win 50+ games this year, but that's out the window.

I'm getting worried about Chauncey. He seems to be regressing to the player he was two years ago. He's making some dumb mistakes that he seemed to correct last year. Anyone else think Larry Brown is getting bored?

3. definitely
It's not just that he's bored, he's lost the players. That can happen to a coach if he's not careful.

I think the same thing has happened to Flip Saunders. Of course, I always thought both coaches were overrated, but their teams are massively underperforming this year.

Flip has one main advantage in that though, and that's Garnett. I'm a Piston fan through and through but I can't deny that Garnett has more competitiveness in his little finger than any Piston on the team. That's bound to translate into some on the floor leadership should they make the playoffs again. I can't see that for Detroit this year.
