Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

The Steelers erupted for two touchdowns over a four minute span at the end of the third quarter to deliver a knockout blow to the Bengals this evening at Cincinnati.

The offensive outburst propelled the Stelers to a 31-17 win and an AFC semi-final playoff game with the Colts at 1 p.m. next Sunday in Indianapolis.

Jerome Bettis showed a big back can be shifty, too, as he dodged a defensive back and sprinted 5 yards off left tackle into the end zone with 5:12 remaining in the third quarter.

A gadget play produced the second score less than four minutes later. Ben Roethlisberger and Antwaan Randle El lined up side by side. Roethlisberger took the snap and tossed the ball to Randle El. The receiver faded right, then tossed the ball back to Roethlisberger who hit a wide open Cedrick Wilson. The 43-yard play was Wilson's first touchdown catch of the season.

5. Oh sure
That's pretty funny. Tell that to the Colts, Patriots, etc. Of course, the Steelers could make it all the way to the Super Bowl. Low blows to the opposing QB's knees seems to be a successful strategy. Think you could use it on Manning next week?

Oh, and I'm not a bub, bub.

6. Low blow?
How is rolling onto the quaterback a low blow, geez I must have missed the flag on that 'dirty play'. Funny don't know many teams who's only chance at
winning a game is with one player. have fun licking your wounds.
