ESPN 2 will be showing tape delayed performances of the men's short programs and live coverage of the ladies short programs from the US Nationals in St. Louis tonight. 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm EST.
I've been following the men's performances on-line this afternoon. Don't miss this, it looks like there are some pretty amazing performances going on right now in St. Louis.
Happy skating, everyone.

What do you think will happen if Sascha finishes third! Who will they bump off to put Michelle on???
Actually, that's not much of a possibility--Sascha will have to skate on her butt for the entire program to NOT win!

This National Championship is all gift wrapped for Sasha. The only thing missing is the red bow. The only person who can beat Sasha Cohen is Sasha herself.

I am little concerned for her though. Watching her short program last night, she seemed a bit off. But she has been sick since last Saturday with the flu and that can wreak havoc with the fittest of people.
Emily Hughes, Sarah Hughes younger sister, is in 2nd place after the short last night. After watching Emily skate, I was thinking Irina Slutskaya must be going crazy in Moscow right now. I pictured Irina screaming, "oh no, not again".
I cannot wait until tomorrow night to see how this drama plays itself out. I have to admit this year's US Nats is compelling viewing and the commentary by Dick Button is absolutely hilarious.
I will also take my hat off to ESPN2. They are doing a great job. It's the best coverage of figure skating, I think, since the Calgary Olys in 1988. If you can, don't miss this. It's great!!!!!
Edit: If you want, check out some of the figure skating websites on the net. My fave is fsuniverse.net. The posters' comments are priceless.
