The Sports Illustrated Cover Jinx

The magazine is covering all bets this week. They put all four teams on their covers which were distributed in appropriate geographic regions of the country. So every fan of the four teams had to groan when they got their issue in the mail and saw their heros on the cover. Page five of the current issue shows all four covers.

2. So obviously both games are going to end up tied

going through about five overtimes until players from both teams collapse in utter exhaustion.

All four teams will have to forfeit, forcing the league to reschedule the conference championships pitting New England against Indianapolis and Washington against Chicago.
