Both franchises are going nowhere.

3. just trade Garnett already
give him a shot to win a title. He's done all he could for your franchise.

5. no
you know why, because having Garnett on your team means you're going to get at least 40 wins a year, which means you'll always be drafting somewhere in the 16-24 range. Good enough to get a descent player, but not a superstar who can compliment Garnett.

You guys are two solid players and one superstar away from a Championship contender, with Garnett. Its time to cut bait with him. Trade him for a star player and a few draft picks (like, to the Nets for Carter or Jefferson and three 1st round picks) and rebuild.

6. The Spurs are the ultimate thieving example...
Put Sobinson on a medical, try to lose games, draft Duncan, and let the GM grab the "glory."

10. A team only needs 2 superstars
to compete for a title: Jordan and Pippin; Shaq and Kobe; the Mailman and Stockton, etc. The Wolves had Garnett and Marberry, but Steph turned out to be a major HEADCASE and they screwed the pooch. Haven't recovered since.

9. I remember his senior year in college...he basically was his entire
team in the tournament, and all the commentators were talking about how great he was. He was gorgeous then.
