What level of GOD could Rothlisberger attain with a win?
He is already pretty damned close anyway but a Super Bowl win would make "Big" Ben Rothlisberger attain a God like status that few American sports figures have ever reached. He could, in theory, surpass the Ditka level in Chicago..... YIKES!

This local Richmond restaurant is festooned with all things Steelers. They have pennants and such outside. They have lifesize posters of Rothlisberger and Hines Ward inside.

I was by there last week and the waitress pointed to the menu and said "The specials are in there" I opened it up....they have "The Rothlisberger" (not on website below). Two hamburger patties, scrambled eggs, and a slice of ham. Doesn't sound very good.

1. I'm thinking he'd be on a level with Saint Brady.

2. He'd need two more to be on Brady's level.
No one considers Trent Dilfer to be great or Jim Plunkett or Brad Johnson.

4. Can't include Plunkett w/those two.
Dilfer and Johnson let the defense do the job. Plunkett actually played great in the two the Raiders won. And, due to his crappy knees, everyone thought Plunkett was washed up when he got to the Raiders.
He came off the bench and led the team for 4 or 5 years, pretty quality teams, too.

13. Yes, but he wasn't considered a god.
Most people have no idea who he is.

It can take just one win under the right circumstances.

12. Isn't Fran Tarkenton considered one of the great ones?
And he never won a Superbowl.

3. Thor.
Not quite at that damned elusive "Odin" Level. Only Unitas and Montana have attained that. Right now he's at "Frost Giant". Or something.

5. Well, for a start...

Maybe we'll spell his name correctly around here. :) It's Roethlisberger, with a bonus "e".

Do you put Hines on that Roethlisberger?

9. Boredom, not blasphemy
I couldn't find anything else to post then discovered a cheap target.

Besides, you might notice I had to edit my previous post. The first time I misspelled his name myself.

10. If the Steelers win, I could see Hines Ward as an MVP

And him having legendary status. He really is a great receiver.

14. Pretty hard to obtain godhood when your rating for the game is 22%
and the only TD pass by your team is by a WR.
