for Antonio Davis. Must be a salary dump, to create cap room. Reporting a Rose and a first round pick (maybe the pick from Denver) to New York for former Raptor Davis.
Maybe part of a 3 team deal, Davis didn't exactly leave Toronto under the best circumstances last time he was here.

- Both where teammates as Indiana Pacers for 3 seasons (96-97, 97-98, 98-99)
- Both have now played for the following teams: Indiana, Chicago, Toronto and New York.
- This would make the second time both have been involved in trades with each other. the other December 1, 2003: Jalen Rose traded by Chicago with forwards Donyell Marshall and Lonny Baxter to Toronto for centre/forward Antonio Davis, and forwards Jerome Williams and Chris Jefferies.
- This makes Antonio being traded back to the same team for the same player he was traded for.
Sure makes your head spin thinking about it, crazy NBA!
