I'm so sorry people are choosing to tarnish their vistory by blaming Seattle's LOSS on the officiating. If you break the rules, you get a penalty...that's how the game is played. The Steelers won, and outplayed Seattle (especially in the second half).

Pittsburgh played a good game, and made huge plays exactly when they needed them. Steelers fans, don't let all this bitching and whining ruin your parade! You guys are the champs!

One for the thumb, Steeler fans...CONGRATULATIONS!

1. Wow! Thanks for the kind words. The 'tarnishing' seems to originate from
mostly Steeler haters...not actual Seahawk fans.

Oh well, we are all still very happy here in Pittsburgh and nothing can take away the win.

Thank you for your post!

2. I definitely give Seattle credit, they are a good team!

If they weren't, they surely would not have made it as far as they did.

I just don't want to see Pittsburgh's Championship ruined by all this sour grape pissing and moaning about penalties against Seattle. Pittsburgh deserved to win and don't deserve to have people suggesting that the game was fixed - it' absurd.

Again, congratulations to Steelers fans - it was one for the history books!

4. Thanks...Real classy of you to give the Steelers props
Fans of most other teams don't like the Steelers. They don't like seeing Steeler fans show up in the thousands and take over their stadiums when the Steelers are on the road. They don't like the style of football that is Steeler football - in your face, hard hitting, smash-mouth.

The Steelers are World Champions today and will be tomorrow, and the day after...and the day after...hell, I don't even hate the Pats anymore.

There is nothing more to add, anyone who finds a way to take from that is jealous or a hater or both.

5. Hey, I'm an Eagles fan...tell me about it!
Edited on Mon Feb-06-06 10:07 PM by friesianrider
Nobody likes the Eagles except for Eagles fans! I do however think it is written in the Eagles Fan Code of Conduct that if our boys aren't in the playoffs, then we automatically become transplant Steelers fans. At least, in my book that's how it is!

Your boys did good...you should celebrate without any of this "tarnished win" and "rigged game" bullshit. Just sour grapes and tinfoil hat conspiracy theorists. :woohoo:

6. Polite Patriotic Applause
Nah - you guys rocked the house in the second half. You deserve a double HOOT, or whatever.

You earned it this year -- the old-fashioned way.

See you in the trenches next season, I'll be the guy in red, white and blue...
