Congrats to the Vikings.... |
|
I was rooting for the Packers.. but must applaud you all for winning...
The Packers just played sloppy football, bumbling the ball, 3 interceptions.. so many missed tackles..... Farve just never seemed in the game...
The Vikings avoid the 0-3 sweep.. and move on... congrats guy.
Viking fan gloating in 5....4....3....2.....1

....this was our Super Bowl (sad, ain't it?). Unfortunately, I'm a realist, and this is probably our last post-season win going into Philly. :-(

The Eagles are out of sync, with everything to lose.
The Vikes have nothing to lose, and they just put together a complete game for the first time since October.
It's the perfect set up for an upset.
Anything could happen.

8. Yes, of course anything can happen. |
|
But you guys are really beat up after that game and Green Bay's suckass defense will not be on the field this week, it's a big hill to climb. Good luck.

10. I figured you to be a Viking fan. |
|
Hence "you guys" when referring to your team. If you are not a Viking fan I apologize for the insult. :7

I can't begrudge a little playoff joy in Minnesota, for once.
And maybe the Vikes D will show up again next week and give the world a shock. I know exactly what would have happened to the Packers, so...
Salud!
:toast:
P.S. -- I hate to admit it, but I predicted a Vikings win. Sometimes being right isn't all that.

11. To me, the season is now an unqualified success. |
|
I don't care if they go into Philly and suck ass next week. The fact that they avenged a season sweep and dumped Green Bay out of the playoffs IN the cold ON the road AT LamBERT field is just too sweet for words.
Yeah, I'm glad the give-the-game-away Favre decided to show up tonight, but give some credit to the maligned Vikings secondary, too. They positioned themselves well to get those picks. Green Bay was exceedingly lucky to have recovered their own 3 fumbles, too.
The Vikes put together their best game of the year - apart from maybe the opening day win against the Cowpies. The glow of this game will keep me happy until next year, no matter what else happens. :) :) :)
