3. My Vikes used up a lot of mojo spanking the Pack.
If they can focus, prepare, and execute like they did in that game, they could beat just about anyone.

But we're really banged up now, and Philly without T.O. is still a great team. Their D is leaps & bounds above Green Bay's, so I have to give Philly the nod.

4. I picked the Vikings last week...
so I might as well go with them again.

I didn't root for them last week, nor will I do so this week, but... predictions are predictions, separate from fandom.

Heck, I'll probaby be out on a nordic adventure, so whaddooeyecare?

6. Sadly, I believe the Eagles will win
But I gave up on my Vikes months ago. I was kinda hoping they wouldn't make it to the playoffs so I wouldn't have to watch them anymore this season, it's bad on my blood pressure. Having made it to the playoffs, I would rather they lose to the Eagles than to those dang Packers!! :)

7. I love this.
The Vikings who have lost 7 of their last 11 games and barely make it to the playoffs are now somehow favored against the 13-1 juggernaut that is the Philadelphia Eagles because they beat a shit Green Bay team? Has the sports world gone insane? I expect imbeciles like Sean Salisbury and Merril Hoge to pick the Vikings because they are so anti-Philadelphia but it seems other national pundits are picking up the same theme.

No respect I tell ya! We get no respect!

I can't wait for Sunday, it's been 3 weeks since we've played a meaningful game and the boys are JACKED. The Linc is going to be a madhouse.

9. Maybe.
But did you see what Pittsburgh's 2nd and 3rd string did to Buffalo, while the Eagles looked like, uh, the 49ers the last two weeks. It's not necessarily going to be easy for them to pick it up again. NFL history has shown this time and again, and the Eagles are always ripe for a playoff upset, so let's not act like those who are predicting an upset are really without justification.

10. Has the sports world gone insane?
Nope not at all. 13-1 juggernaut? I'm not so sure of that.
The Vikings have had a better year statistically. Alot of Vikings games were very close. The Vikings did better than the eagles this year at:
Total first downs
First downs (rushing, Passing)
Forth down conversions
Total offensive yards
Offense (Plays-average yards)
Total Rushing yards
Rushing (Plays-Average yards)
Total Passing Yards
Passing (Comp-Att-Int-Avg)
Sacks
Touchdowns
Like you said WE Don't get no RESPECT. The Vikings will be playing a very good team at their house just like last week. Everyone said No WAY we could beat the packers but we did.
Go Vikings

12. Why should anyone respect an 8-8 team that lost 7 of the last 11
over the no 1 team in the conference all year? The Packers are not a "very good team", their defense is brutal and Favre looked like Doug Peterson out there. This is a completely different story, the Eagles have a real pass rush, have the best secondary in the league, have top of the line special teams, D-Mac does not throw stupid interceptions and Westy does not fumble like Green. I did not say it was impossible for Minnesota to win, I just take umbrage with the fact that people seem to have forgotten how good the Eagles are and I'm puzzled that these goofy announcers seem to be favoring the Vikings. Vegas knows what's going on but no one else seems to.

17. Offense stats mean little if you are playing from behind
And even less if you are playing from in front. Teams with a lead tend to sit on the ball, teams that are losing tend to air it out. The stats mean nothing because they don't tell the whole story.

Defensive stats are another matter. And the Eagles allowed the second most points in the league.

21. Second LEAST amount you mean.
And they gave up the least amount of points in the entire NFL up until they stopped playing the starters. They only gave 15 passing TDs the whole year. But I agree with the garbage time offensive stats being overrated.

20. Are you going?
Never been to the Linc for an Eagles game yet - only for Springsteen.

One way of the other - it will be rocking!

Not putting any money on seeing any championships games for a while with my Citizen's Bank (partial) season tickets.

Man are you still going to pay for the Phillies tickets despite the fact they have done nothing but get worse? I've been boycotting the Phils until they get rid of Idiot Wade.

8. Woah
This polls closer than I thought it was... I must of either

A. underestimated the number of Viking Fans or
B. Underestimated the hatred for the Eagles..

I'm predicting the Eagles to win... good job against the Pack Vikings.. but I don't see you pulling off another one.

On the otherhand, the majority (including me) thought the Packers had your number.. and well......

With that being said though.. I'll be rooting for the Vikings.. and here's hoping to be delightfully surprised :)

13. Salisbury would pick the old age home team over the Eagles.
He's a dope and a hater. He also said Washington would win the division this year, that worked out well.

14. Salisbury is just as incompetent as an analyst
as he was as a quarterback.
Having said that, I picked the Vikings...they got momentum and I am a homer!
