And I am thoroughly impressed with this team.
Best in baseball.
110 wins this year.
Pedro = Cy Young Award.
Wright = MVP.
Bannister = Rookie of the Year
Magic Rat = Mets Fan of the Year.
:D

I'm a fellow Mets fan, and I just want to warn you: they've only played the (g)Nats and Fish so far---not a real telling body of work.
Now, if they can consistantly win two out of three against real teams like Atlanta, Houston and St. Louis, then 110 wins is totally doable.
I DO like Wright and Bannister, though... :D
Here's to a successful last 155 games of the year! :P

3. Yea, how on earth are they doing it with only a well over 100-million- |
|
dollar payroll?!?
Just kidding, an enormous payroll doesn't always guarantee success....
Not unless you're the Yankees or Red Sox or Angles or all of the other teams with enormous payrolls :rofl:

Though I'm not sure how much beating the Nationals is worth...
I'm still excited.
