T.O.'s injury doesn't matter.
Eagles record without T.O.:

01 - 11-5 NFC championship
02 - 12-4 NFC championship
03 - 12-4 NFC championship

With T.O.

04 - 13-3. I see are one whole win better then previous years. Not as much immprovement as you would think. Maybe the birds were a good team before T.O.

1. Yep, under Andy Reid
They've always been a good team. I think the reason they've lost the championship games is in the last few games of all those seasons, he's benched his starters. So they have to come back as a "new" team for that one game and don't have the continuity they had playing all the time. Just my 2 cents.

2. Reid never benched the starters before.
The birds had a wildcard game 3 years ago, McNabb had a broken leg two years ago and the birds didn't clinch until the last game, and last year again the eagles did not clinch til the last game. 2004 is the first time Reid has sat the starters.

3. It probably won't matter until the Super Bowl
The home field should be enough to mask that deficiency vs. flawed foes. But against a top notch AFC team on a neutral field the old WR deficiencies could pop up again.

8. "Might" be back for the big dance
Maybe.

Even if he's back, I don't know how effective he'll be.

5. T.O. didn't make any difference at Pittsburgh when he was
playing.

7. I think it matters
I still think they defeat Minnesota tomorrow. I'm not sold on the Vikings' ability to play good in two straight games.

However, I don't like Philly's receivers. Mitchell and Pinkston have been mediocre all year. McNabb relied heavily on Owens and his 70 + catches.

I think the Eagles can still win if they utilize McNabb's playmaking ability and get the ball to Westbrook as many times as possible.
