1. Seems like a fun idea
I'll start with my early predictions that will very likely change hundreds of times before the actual draft.

1. 49ers - Matt Leinart - QB - USC
2. Dolphins - Cedric Benson - RB - Texas
3. Browns - Alex Barron - OT - FSU
4. Bears - Mike Williams - WR - USC
5. Bucs - Derrick Johnson - LB - Oklahoma
6. Titans - Antrelle Rolle - CB - Miami
7. Raiders - Cadillac Williams - RB - Auburn
8. Cardinals - Aaron Rodgers - QB - Cal (No brainer here imo)
9. Redskins - David Pollack - DE - Georgia
10. Lions - Jamaal Brimmer - SS - UNLV

6. Interesting.

What's your logic for having Seattle draft a cornerback when they have the youngest secondary in the NFL?

Dollars to donuts says Seattle picks a pass rusher (End, Tackle or LB.)

I think they are also a good bet to select a running back at 23 after they lose Shawn Alexander.

7. I think they will franchise Alexander

and when you get down to the end of the draft I feel it starts to become
best available player. They might trade up or down, proubly down to pick up a OT because if they franchise alexander there going to lose walter jones to free agencie

11. All indications are that they will franchise Jones again
Lets put it this way. Jones is much higher up on their priority list than Alexander.

Believe it or not, Seattle is not very high on Alexander. I think it's a mistake to let him go, but if Holmgren is back (and he will be) Alexander won't be here.

With Ken Lucas, Marcus Trufant and Bobby Taylor as the cornerbacks on this team they won't be taking a CB unless the best one in the draft slips to 23 (which obviously won't happen)

Their defensive ends last year were Grant Wistrom (big injury risk) and Chike Okeafor (who is a FA) They'll either trade up for a DE or trade down for a value RB pick, IMO.

16. Do yo think there going to franchise jones
And have to resign alexander and haselback, your right the CB and secondary are young but i dont think they will go outside the Best player avilble unless they trade up and get rid of next years 1st round pick, holmgren has never traded up so i dont know if that will happen.

8. The Steelers MUST take the best Corner available!

I'm hoping that Carlos Rogers or Corey Webster will fall to us at the 32 pick.

:-)

9. I'm a huge Bengals fan...
...so I think you could very well be correct w/ their pick @ 17. DT is probably their most glaring need. Even though I follow the NFL religiously, I don't follow college much at all. So how good of a player is Travis Johnson? I've never heard of him.

17. Dolphins fan here
We've got the #2 selection. I'll be happy if we draft a QB, RB, or OL. I like what I've seen out of Cedrick Benson. A lot will depend on whether Saban pursues getting Ricky to come back or trades for Travis Henry. Frankly, I can't see a deal that brings Henry to Miami. If there's a RB that could be traded here, it's Shaun Alexander.

I've heard good things about the big offensive tackle, Ferguson. I wouldn't blame Miami if they tried to build their OL around a young, talented guy like Ferguson.

I'm not sure where we go with the QB position. Unless there's someone really great out there, I'd try to get a veteran QB through free agency. I don't consider QB to be our most glaring weakness.
