I read an article tonight about how some of the members of the New York Knicks are not bashing former coach Larry Brown. The comments of the players showed, in my opinion, how pampered player in the NBA are. One of the players complained about how Larry Brown tried to get the player to change some of the things he did; However, this player and his friends felt that since his style of play got him to the NBA he should not change his style. So he was angry that Larry Brown tried to get him to change his style. Another player seems to have a problem with Brown not pumping up his ego. This player claimed that he liked Isaih Thomas better as a coach because Thomas uses "positive reenforcement." Others claimed that they did not understand Brown's coaching style and just went out and played.

has an article (page 47) about Denver "wooing" Dave Hanners, the assistant to Larry Brown. As someone who has been a Knick fan for four decades, it is difficult to watch this once proud team be reduced to the status of the worst-run team in all of professional sports.
