Argonauts head coach Mike (Pinball) Clemons confirmed the extent of the injury but did not specify which bone was broken, nor did he venture any estimate of how long Williams would be out of action.
"He has a broken arm, so he's going to be out for a little while," Clemons said following the contest, which left both teams with 2-3 records.
For those who haven't been following, Ricky signed to play in the CFL for a year while on suspension from the NFL. He's been mostly innefective, more because the Argos have a REALLY BAD O-line right now. This actually happened on the weekend, but thought NFL fans here might be interested to hear about it. He had surgery Monday and is expected to make a full recovery and be out 4-6 weeks.
