Reggie Bush still not in camp (as of 31 Jul) |
|
bush who "agreed to terms" with the Saints on 29 July and is expected to sign a contract today had to go to San Diego and pack his bags while his new teammates are melting in the heat in Jackson Mississippi during pre-season practice. It is expected Bush will be in camp tomorrow. I hope the veterans wear his rookie ass out in camp, and as a Saints Fan I expect bush, who is doing an incredible impersonation of a prima donna, to perform outstandingly from day one.

1. I saw an interview with the Saint's GM last night |
|
who said he had told Bush to report tomorrow night, he still needs to undergo some sort of tests that can't be administered until Tuesday morning. Still, he may be in for a rude awakening.

his current actions are really pissing me off. I hope the vets kick his ass. Although if he runs for 1,500 yards and the Saints make the playoffs I guess I'll get over it. But, damn, he's signing for around 60 million, and he's been making commercials for months. Surely to God he could have reported to camp in a timely manner. And some of his teammates (gruff old defensive guys) are conking out in the heat up in Jackson, Mississippi.

3. can't report to camp until you are signed |
|
that's just stupid (I mean, would you work without a contract? blow out your knee, and goodbye 50 million) Is he comes to camp in kickass shape, with his head in the game, then there aren't any real problems. I trust he has been working out non stop and studying his playbook as well. Also, for running backs it's not as big of a deal as it is for rookie QBs to get to camp on the first day. Still, now he's used his get out jail free card and better work his ass off and keep his nose clean.

5. LOL... worst team ever for Regie boy |
|
that speed run may have worked against the Tits, but the Saints are in the NFC South, their defenses are pretty damn good, and :spank: built on speed. And he's got 6 games in division, plus 4 games vs. NFC "second best div in cof" East and 4 games against AFC North, which makes his rookie season look like murderer's row.
I'm banking that Reg gets hurt this year, or I would if anyone would take that bet. He's toast!

7. I suspect you'll get over this irritation right quick, Boss |
|
probably about midway through the third quarter quarter of the Cleveland game, I'm guessing.
He'll have just scored his third touchdown. Or so.
