Joe Buck is an idiot
buck said today on fox sports that an equal amount of money spent on the refurbishing of the super dome in New Orleans should be used for rebuilding homes in the city. I have an extremely low opinion of Jack's son to start with, but the city is getting a helluva lot more money than that for the purposes of rebuilding houses from the government. The idiot should strive to become a good sports announcer which he might be one day, but Joe, don't open your fucking mouth about something you obviously have no knowlege of.

1. I think he was saying
That peoples homes should have been taken care of first before the Superdome, and that the enormous cost of refurbishing it, that amount should be given to also help rebuild the ninth ward, along with the other monies. I don't get how this is an annoying statement.

3. If its so important to Joe Buck
then why doesn't he get his sorry ass down to the ninth ward, roll up his sleeves and be part of the solution. The reopening of the Super Dome means million in tax revenues, jobs for the locals and business for restaurants and hotels meaning more jobs for locals. The federal government has earmarked much more money for home rebuilding in the region then what it cost to refurbish the super dome. And there is no way to put a pricetag on the positive effect the upcoming game has had on the citizens of the city for the past two weeks. Keep practicing being a sportscaster joe.

2. He bashed Seattle with a bad latte joke to lead off the pregame show
today. Something about lattes for $11 or so, with a tone of "liberal elitism". My sense is he would have preferred to be anywhere but Seattle today.
