I finally watched my first at bats of the season the other day. I was looking at the football odds in the Frontier sportsbook and someone said a pitcher had a no hitter in the 9th inning. I think it was a Padres pitcher. Anyway, I decided to watch and immediately I wondered how the hell the guy had any threat of a no-hitter. He didn't put his body into the pitch at all, just the arm. He walked the first batter I watched, then the next guy he couldn't throw a strike until he finally surrendered a long home run over the centerfield fence. I had to laugh. As far as I'm concerned he never got anyone out.

But that's the beginning and end of my baseball season. I assume they will keep playing, for whatever purpose.
