Drew Stanton or Brady Quinn |
|
If you had to choose between Drew Stanton or Brady Quinn which one would you choose? As of right now I would choose Drew Stanton. I contend Stanton is better than Quinn.

1. Okay whatever drugs you are on |

it is time to share. Drew Stanton folds up whenever the game is on the line. Prime example, last weeks collapse to Notre Dame. His stats pale in comparison to Quinn's.

Part of the problem with last weeks game was the offensive line. In one stretch the Offensive line acquired about four holding penalties, which caused the team to go from about first and a few to third and fourth and long. That is one of the main reasons Michigan State lost last week. Also Stanton did not have very much help from his receivers. On about two separate occasions two different receivers dropped passed that would have been touchdowns or would have lead to touchdowns. So Brady Quinn and Irish nation should be very happy that Drew Staton's team did not play as well as they should have. If the whole Michigan State team had played better Notre Dame would have been destroyed; Michigan would have won by about 18 points, and that would have been only if Notre Dame would not have been too heartbroken to make a comeback. Michigan State should have gone to halftime with about a 30-40 point lead.
Sorry, I contend Brady Quinn is just overrated, but has a really good team behind him that can make him look good even when he plays poorly. I realize the Drew Stanton did some things in last weeks game that he should not have done. For instance, running too much, especially on third and long. He did that too much.

I think one of the major reason Michigan State is not that good is that the team does not have that many weapons. I contend if the team had a few better players they would be playing better. However, if Brady Quinn is so great why had Notre Dame gotten their butts handed to them by Micigan.

...and Brady Quinn doesn't play defense. MSU and your boy Stanton really wet the bed against an awful Illinois team.
And you really should talk to somebody about your nasty crack habit.

8. Nope, conditioning and depth. |
|
MSU suffers from a lack of conditioning (J.L. Smith, you listening???) and depth, particularly at offensive line. For some reason they can't sustain an effort for more that 2.5 to 3 quarters. They also suffer from some sort of mental illness and it must be from the banks of the Red Cedar River.
For years, State has fielded a great team for the first 3 or 4 games. Once they lose, they absolutely, positively suck ass!!!!
Look at last year. They were kicking ass and taking names. Then, UofM. Bam!!! Double overtime! A year after a triple overtime loss in Ann Arbor. Then, to add insult to injury, a huge loss to Ohio State! All because of, as Peyton Manning puts it, some stupid liquored up kicker. They won 1 more game.
If you live in East Lansing, you get used to it. We wait for the first loss, which usually means the end of our season.

10. What liqored up kicker? |
|
What is that supposed to mean? Is Peyton implying that Michigan State or Ohio State had a drunk kicker?

I'd choose Chad Henne who is better than either one of them.

11. Say......are you really Brent Musberger? |
|
Or, as I call him, Brent MSU-berger? Once Drew Stanton got sacked 9 times and lost the game, yet MSU-berger still wanted Stanton to be the player of the game.

I've watched his Spartans put about 35 points per game on the board for three full seasons. He's the real deal. Quinn is surrounded by a better squad. Stanton will have a long successful NFL career.
