20. We're still recouperating from the Steelers-Jets game

which wiped us completely out emotionally and physically.

Hubby and I are watching the Falcons-Rams game, though. Looks like Atlanta hit the ground running, so to speak.

I understand about the the other game.. that was draining regardless of who you were rooting for. I rooted for the Steelers... but I do feel for the Jets, I feel as if they should be moving on instead.

23. The Jets will always have next year

They played two great games against the Chargers and the Steelers. Pittsburgh is going all the way to the Super Bowl, though - just my gut instincts.

The Jets have GOT to start scouting around for a new kicker, though. This guy couldn't hit the side of a barn door.

OTOH, no team has ever made a winning punt from that far out in Heinz Field. So maybe Brian isn't to blame.

With that being said.. it looked like Bulger didn't want to get up after that. That was another nasty hit.

40. Final Thoughts....

The Ram's played extremely sloppy.. I think that should be said foremost.....

The Falcons flat out out ran the Rams.. and the Rams seem to not be able to comprehend what tackling is, or completing passes were anymore..

Vick.. for a guy who can't pass that great made some decent passes this game... and give him credit where he really deserves it.. he can really run.. In fact.. does anyone remember the official number of yards the Falcons ran for tonight...

Bulgar was just flat out assaulted. That's all I can say about it. He took some very brutal shots.

I cheered for the Rams, but I'm not surprised nor shock the Falcons won, I just thought it be a bit closer. The Rams have seen to have their shit together, but in this game against the Falcons... their shit can undone.

Congrats Falcons... good luck in the NFC Championship Game... I'm qutie sure.... The Eagles will be there to meet you.
