1. Suns are doing pretty well this year |
|
I think they were down 5 games early on but they've certainly come back.

4. You are merely too young. |
|
The NBA's seen a lot more points than this. But not much of this lately, not at all.

Record in one regulation game for one team is 173.

11. For this season, yes. |
|
I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few games like this during the season.

8. Holy crap, that's a lot of points. |
|
They actually got pretty close to the highest-score NBA game of all time. The Detroit Pistons and Denver Nuggets played in the highest scoring game in NBA history on December 13, 1983 at McNichols Arena in Denver, Colorado. Both teams combined for 370 points as Detroit won 186-184 in triple overtime.http://www.nba.com/pistons/news/hwc_pointsfrenzy.html- as

9. Is this with the new ball the players keep trying to shoot down? |
|
Is this with the new ball the players keep trying to shoot down? The new one is a microfiber composite rather than leather. The experts say it feels and behaves the same way, but the players and the union are saying their game will suffer because it's different.
Crybabies.

13. The ridges of the ball are causing cuts! |
|
The NBAPA actually sued the league to get the old leather ball back, and I think they'll get it.
They had three retired players (Reggie Miller and Steve Kerr were two of them) test the ball for an hour before they approved it, with no input from active players.
I know that Kidd's hands were all cut up, and he says it's from the seams of the ball.

That's the results NBA games used to have in the 1980's/early 90's when the NBA kicked ass.

I don't think I've ever seen such a high score before in basketball...I guess defense was flushed down the toilet tonight, or were the shooters just spot on tonight?
