ESPN are a bunch of effing idiots
They have the score in the lower middle of the screen. In my opinion the position is one that is likely to higher chance of action. Generally, the score is positioned in the corner.

In addition, they are not positioning the score docked to the bottom but about 1/6th to 1/7th from the bottom. Other networks had teh score either docked to the top of the screen or nearly docked.

I complained last week about it but just received their blanket response.

1. That scoreboard drives me crazy. The camera has to zoom out in order
to get players along the line of scrimmage in view, making them appear smaller on the television screen. Idiocy is right! This was a MAJOR blunder! I complained too, with the same results.
