It Might Save Oregon Some Money To Just Give Everyone In The Crowd LSD

In their ongoing quest to burn the retinas of anyone who watches them, the Oregon Ducks have unveiled the newest part of their continually changing look: helmets that change color depending on the angle from which they are seen. I'm glad no one's told them about Hypercolor t-shirts...

Someone has to stop them! For the sake of all college football fans...NO!

4. OMG! I can see the pundits arguing now.
Doesn't the UO football have enough fucking uniforms yet. Last count was like 16 patterns.

10. Duck here
As a Duck alum, this is a welcome distraction from how poorly they have played the last few games. And where's my LSD? I could have used it at the Arizona game.

13. This could work for them.
Imagine the opposing QB dropping back to pass while the entire Oregon defense changes color to match his own team. Where to throw? Might bump up interceptions.

I just get the mental image of a bunch of stoned college students all simultaneously going "Oh man, look at the pretty colors...".

22. The Nike designers - and I use the term loosely - have lost their minds
I wish they'd stop inflicting this ugliness on us. Have they no humanity?

I went to a game there a few years ago. The team looked terrible enough, but the band was enough to send you around the bend. Which was really too bad, because in contrast, their stadium is set in one of the most naturally beautiful settings you'd ever want to see. Stunningly beautiful - as long as you ignore the unis!

25. er, the stadium is set in a landfill
But, boy those Ducks will defend to the death every aspect of duck football.

Ducks get a gift vs. OU? "Ooooh, but we got bad calls toooo!"

Everybody knows that their uniforms suck ass, but, cognitive dissonance being what it is, they defend the indefensible.

"Jealousy" they call it.

You really can't blame the designers--well you can, because they suck--but blame Unka Phil for giving that crap the go-ahead.

Oh yeah, Go Beavs. :-)

I have a good friend who is a Beaver and I rooted for them against Oregon this year, but they need to get that big ad off their field.
