Joakim Noah Is Against the Iraq War
I was reading a David Zirin article at Zirin's website and in the the article Zirin mentioned that Joakim Noah is against the Iraq war. Zirin only did a brief mention of Noah's stance so I decided to do a search and I found more information about Noah being against the war in Iraq. According to the article I read Noah talked about being against the war in Iraq and not supporting the Bush Administration. Noah also stated that he almost did not go to the White House visit after Florida won their first national championship. Florida coach Billy Donovan talked convinced Noah to go in order to not bring any bad publicity to the University of Florida. In another small piece I read the author point out that Noah once pointed out his stance on the Iraq War during a press conference. I have place two links below that talk about Noah's opinions. I think the second one is the better read. The first one only mentions Noah's Iraq War opinions and then goes on to talk about the championship game. The second one talks more about Noah and his opinions.
