"Straight cash homie..."
The Vikings are out of tournament, but I didn't have an opportunity to comment on Randy Moss and his comments with regard to the $10,000 fine announced last week. I realize too that there was much Moss hating in here last week, but so be it.

If any of you missed it, below I've posted a transcript.

A reporter asks Moss about the fine: "Did you write the check yet?"
Moss: "Rich people don't write checks."'
Reporter: "Then how do you pay these guys?"
Moss: "Straight cash, Homie!"
When asked if he was sorry:
"What's 10000 dollars to me? It ain't shit! Next time I might shake my dick!"

Now before, although I've long respected Moss for his talent, I had never really been much of a fan of his. But in that moment, Randy Moss became my hero. Randy Moss is a modern day Jack Johnson. It you aren't familiar with the story of Jack Johnson, the second part of Unforgivable Blackness: The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnson airs on PBS stations tonight.

1. I'm no fan of Randy Moss, but that is hilarious. I hope he does it.
Imagine the spastic convulsions of the right-wing media then.

3. I thought the quote was hilarious.
Moss is a funny dude and a great player. I like people who don't give a fuck about political correctness.

5. OMG
I want him on the Jets...NOW.

I wonder if the Vikings would accept Curtis Martin and a first round pick for him?

6. Moss' moon was in response to Packer fans
who are known to moon opposing players as they exit the tunnel to go onto the playing field. In other words, Moss gesture was an inside joke, and only NFL players and packer fans got it.
